SURVEY OF DRAWING MEDIA
DRAWING: SURVEY OF DRAWING MEDIA
Are you interested in drawing but don’t quite know which drawing media you would like to try? Do you have a go to drawing media but want to learn about new media? Do you feel like you are stuck in a drawing rut, and you need some encouragement to move beyond? Then join us for a Survey of Drawing Media. We will explore a different drawing medium each week, learning the basic skills to go along with them, such as how to apply value and shadows, etc. Each class will be full of learning via practicing with the medium and a short project that will enable you to decide if you want to move deeper into that medium. We will learn basic drawing skills along the way. This class is for those just venturing into drawing and for those that have been drawing for a long time. Come rest and explore charcoal and conte crayon, color pencil, and brush drawing with ink and watercolor as well as traditional ink pens.
