PLAYFUL LAYERS

Would you like to reconnect with your inner child’s limitless imagination? If you search beneath the layers of the “known” self, you are likely to find a version of a younger you that is longing to be brought back to the surface for new adventures. Making time for “play” can be hard to prioritize because of the stress of…well, life. Who has time for play when the responsibilities of adulthood are never ending? Though, research shows that benefits of play can be exponential for all creatures living. Some of these benefits include but, are not limited to: increased cognitive flexibility, improved emotional regulation, and decreased stress levels! Playful Layers is an abstract painting course with a focus on mixed media (the sky’s the limit here) and layers while painting.
