ACCESSIBLE WEAVING FOR WOMEN

Learn the ancient and practical skill of weaving. If you thought the only kind of weaving out there requires an expensive loom, think again! This survey of weaving techniques is also an exploration of small, simple, affordable, and accessible looms.

Join Grace McFetters Caldwell, an Army veteran, in learning to weave, along with how to build your own looms. Students will weave a tapestry of a waterfall, their own beaded bracelet, a strap, a pocket for a bag, a ready-to- hang picture frame weaving, and the beginnings of the most creative shoelaces possible.
