“Deploy Operation ART” Initiative Launches with Partnerships around the Triangle Area

North Carolina – The Joel Fund proudly announces a new initiative, “Deploy Operation ART,” designed to make The Joel Fund’s Operation ART program more accessible to veterans and military families across the greater Triangle area of North Carolina.

Deploy Operation ART will provide free, quarterly workshops at community-based partner locations to reach veterans in different areas. This initiative directly addresses the need for localized, in-person support, offering a convenient way for veterans to engage in creative expression and community building.

Operation ART (Artistry, Reconnection, Transformation) is a community arts program, helping veterans and their families express emotions without speaking and foster connection. The launch of Deploy Operation ART underscores The Joel Fund’s commitment to delivering vital mental and emotional support through creative outlets.

Deploy Operation ART workshops will be held once per quarter with the following partners:

• Durham VA Whole Health
• Granville County Veterans Services
• Raleigh Vet Center
• Wake County Veterans Services
