WRITING FOR WELL-BEING

WRITING FOR WELL-BEING

Through the healing power of expressive writing, participants will explore their hopes, experiences, and challenges, bearing witness to, and capturing significant life events. Research has shown that writing not only boosts resiliency, but also positively impacts our physical and mental health. Led by award-winning author June Guralnick, the focus of the workshop –emotional well-being through thought-provoking (and fun!) writing ‘prompts’- encourages active duty and veteran family members and caregivers to share their heartfelt stories, providing an inspiring and supportive group environment to gain a fresh perspective. No previous writing experience needed!
