VIRTUAL WRITING YOUR BOOK

A Virtual Creative Writing Workshop

Have you always wanted to write a book (whether it be a novel, non-fiction account, short story collection, or poetry chapbook), but weren’t sure how to begin? This class is for you!

Focusing on the steps needed to take a book from idea to first draft, this advanced writing class employs writing exercises and mindfulness-based prompts to tap into your inspiration and explore compelling themes and a clear outline structure for your book. Offering a safe, supportive online environment, the class welcomes veterans, current active duty and reserve members of the armed forces as well as veteran caregivers and immediate adult military family members.

Participants must have previously taken The Joel Fund’s “Writing for Hope” class or have permission from the instructor.
