MIXED MEDIA

In visual art, mixed media describes the artwork in which more than one medium or material is used. Assemblages, collages, and sculptures are three common examples of art using different media. Materials used to create mixed media art include, but are not limited to, paint, cloth, paper, wood, and found objects.  In this class, we will start simple with paint, pencil, and ink then work on more complicated art projects with acrylic paint, paper, cloth, and other objects as the student becomes more familiar and comfortable with working with different mediums.
