Virtual Basic Drawing and Color Theory

Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting? This class was designed for people who have never taken an art class. The first half of this class will focus on drawing and the second half will focus on painting. This introductory class will give students the basic knowledge of drawing what they see. Students will also learn how to see light and shadows in black and white. During the painting portion of this class students will be exposed to color theory and color schemes. Students will learn how to mix colors using acrylic paints to turn their drawings into colorful masterpieces. No experience necessary. Supplies included and will be mailed to students prior to first class.

LOCATION: Online with Zoom
ZOOM INFORMATION: Zoom is a free video conferencing platform that gives us the opportunity to connect with our peers during this pandemic.  Zoom can be used from any computer with a camera, smartphone or tablet.  Downloading the free Zoom app give you access to Zoom features.
