Starting A Photography Business

Do you have a knack for photography and want to turn your skillset into a potential source of extra income but don’t know where to start?  This Photography Business course will cover many of the ins and outs of starting and maintaining a business in today’s competitive visual market.  Some topics will include invoicing, self-employed vs LLC, different means of marketing such as a portfolio website and social media. Additionally, We will also discuss pitching to different types of photo editors, wavers, contracting and understanding photo copyright rights for our work.  It’s never too late to jump into the field if you have a talent for and love of photography!

ZOOM INFORMATION: Zoom is a free video conferencing platform that gives us the opportunity to connect with our peers during this pandemic.  Zoom can be used from any computer with a camera, smartphone or tablet.  Downloading the free Zoom app give you access to Zoom features.
