She was born in Canada and she studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal and Eastern Michigan University. She has entered her work in juried shows and won recognition for her art. She exhibited her work for many years. Recently her work was chosen by the 2018 Spotlight on Wake Forest Artists Contest to be on display for a year. She has been painting or over 45 years using a variety of mediums but oil paint it what is closest to her heart. She enjoys the discovery of what begins to appear on canvas, the mixing of colors and the smell of the oils. She uses a palette knife to apply her paint. She feels that painting is a form of meditation. Her emotions influence the colors. When she paints, time doesn’t exist, she is in a world of her own making and at peace. She wants to be able to share this feeling with others.
