Basic Drawing and Color Theory

Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting? This class was designed for people who have never taken an art class. The first half of this class will focus on drawing and the second half will focus on painting. This introductory class will give students the basic knowledge of drawing what they see. Students will also learn how to see light and shadows in black and white. During the painting portion of this class students will be exposed to color theory and color schemes. Students will learn how to mix colors using acrylic paints to turn their drawings into colorful masterpieces. No experience necessary. Supplies will be provided.
